PiYo Challenge - Day 30


Whew! I am tired and ready for bed but I will still do my post as promised...

Today my day started late but thanks to Punkin...my snuggle bunny...kitty...I got up at 10:30... Had some coffee and two hard boiled eggs...I forgot to take a photo...so I improvised. ha! Enjoy! Its beautiful! Don't you think?


I played on my phone a bit...which I shouldn't have considering I have tons of homework to do. But I then got on my reading for my Lifespan class. Easy read but too a bit. I got my research together for three posts today....which means I will have to really buckle down tomorrow to write them as two are due tomorrow and I want to complete my work by Thursday...that's my weekly goal! Plus I need to work ahead because my residency is in 10 days...I haven't bought my plan ticket or my room...and I have two classes...plus its 8-5 work when I am there all week...so, hoping to God I can work early and get it done..tis the plan at least.

Had some yogurt...and of course..Shadow had some. He can't go without! =)


Marc got home later than normal and the garage door wasn't closing so I went out and helped him...somehow over night one of the sensors fell over an inch...weird...it was fun to take Punkin out front...she is so beautiful and silly. I also received Marc's P90x Results & Recovery as well as his vitamins..he's excited. Did his workout today with the vitamins and kicked ass! Rock on!


Me, I continued to do research and I made a pita pocket...still just not a fan of how I'm making it...but I do like the bread...gives me energy too so its nice...plus its half the calories of the two corn tortillas I like so much. Only 100 calories! I used some siracha, ground turkey, romaine lettuce and a tiny bit of cheese...and had a few pita chips with hummus....I love that stuff. mmm. Have to watch the fat intake though.

I actually didn't have my Shakeology today...time didn't allow and neither did my calories as I am trying to catch up on the yogurt I need to eat that is in the fridge before it goes bad. I hate days I don't have my Shakeology...Usually its not even an option to skip it...but I guess I got off track with studying and I like to have it after my workout...my timing is off cause I got up late...and didn't want to stop research when I was on a roll...this has got to change though...because I don't like missing my Shake-O...I feel run down and sleepy...just not good. So I had a cups worth of fruit...pineapple, mango and grapes...it really hit the spot! Problem solved!


I tackled Piyo Sweat today...OMG I am getting stronger...I did all the bur-pees but I didn't touch the floor on the squats a few times..my legs were just on fire...I also did all the push-ups on my feet minus the last two sets and there are a TON of push-ups in this routine...I love it and hate it cause I was so weak near the end...but I completed on my knees. No problem...still huge growth and I'm stronger. You can really see the definition in my triceps now. I finally got a good photo. 


Marc had informed me that dinner was ready so I didn't clean up yet and went to eat...watch The Last Ship with Marc. I love that show. Its really so good...and dinner was super yum. My fav as always. 5 brussel sprouts and a turkey burger with Monterrey jack cheese, cabbage/carrots (coleslaw mix but cooked in skillet), avocado, and awesome-ness!!!


So, Marc watched some more tv and I did more school work..planning for week 10 assignment (20 page paper). I have all the sources..just need to put into outline for my week 5 post. Now, I'm dead and ready for bed...Oh yeah, I saw the 30 day results from my Piyo Challengers...wow...such transformations. I'm super proud of them and so glad this is working for them. Makes me uber happy! Goodnight!
