PiYo Challenge - Day 24 / 3-Day Refresh - Day 1



I woke up really early today with the kitties in my face...got up at 8am to start the 3-Day Refresh and get on my homework....problem is, I wasn't up very long...trying to read my book, freezing and finally succumb to napping with Shadow on the couch for an hour. My body was hungry I suppose. Before I fell asleep I had a glass of water and Vanilla Shakeology with mangos....made with water...bleh. I will try again tomorrow.


Next was the Fiber Sweep...bleh...OMG that was not good...I kept telling myself this will be worth it! But it is like frosted mini wheats without the sugar and ground up but chalky...ick. I am not looking forward to it. 


That's where I fell asleep...just couldn't keep my eyes open...Shadow loves to snuggle!


After my hour nap I got back to work on my school and really was dragging ass today. Got my partner in crime with me...and then I had my Vanilla Sweep for my lunch....with grapes...nom nom...the sweep was not good with ice...I figured next time i wouldn't use ice...was just too watery and needed something.



I finally got a ton done today by 3pm...but before hand I had my snack that involved 3 cups of romaine lettuce (by the way...thats a ton of lettuce), two lemons, and 2 tbsp of avocado. It was good. I enjoyed it. 


I finally went to Aldi today...first time trying that place. I needed to go to pick up some things like hummus and green beans....extra broccoli, cucumbers (I dont like without tomatoes, onions and vinegar with olive oil in a bowl), cauliflower, and a few things I will enjoy after the Refresh that are healthy and yummy...nom nom...BTW, those hummus were $2 each...thats cheap as hell so I got one of each flavor! Then when I got back I had my fav tea...Green tea and refresh from Starbucks...use to work there so I still have much tea left...found REFRESH (my fav) is only fitting now. It hit the spot!


Here I'll share my photos again for 3-Day Refresh... I'm not happy. With my measurements I found that so far I have lost 2 inches and gained in my hips...has to be my ass! Makes me sad but I feel good. I still have much progress to do.


When I got back I had my snack...2 tbsp of hummus and bell peppers...I also made another tea...yes!


After that I got back on homework and then decided to workout. Piyo - Buns today...I was worried if I would be tired and all that jazz...but I did really well...I tell you, shoes make the difference. My running shoes are bad for it because I cant balance but my other Nike's were great...After I completed the daily challenge and started on dinner.

Marc had macaroni and cheese which he ate before the chicken I made him was even done. I had another vanilla fresh without ice this time...much better... and 2 cups of Spinach, a small tomato, lemon juice, 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, half a cucumber, 1/4 cup of broccoli, 1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds and seasoned with italian, cayanne, and pepper...ugh. I wanted salt so bad...you never realize what you have till its gone! I hate veggies without my salt...but I managed..I didnt finish the cucumbers though.


No, I didn't eat all those...just though how Marc helped me cut them was cool.


I also have to say I rarely get cravings but I was craving chocolate, chinese, and all kinds of shit this afternoon...was crazy. 
That is about it. I totalled 80oz of water on top of the water in my Shakes or my tea...it was a ton. I'm dead now...tons to do tomorrow and my back hurts...goodnight all!
