PiYo Challenge - Day 7

Actually...NOT AT ALL! Did you know that if you don't eat enough you will be tired and weak? Signs that you should eat more!!!

Considering we were up really late last night...not sure why...Oh yeah...movies, catching up on our shows and we got stuck watching QVC...which by the way.. Understand how people go broke...they watch that show. The people are SUPER excited about stuff that isn't uber great but some things are cute...but I wouldn't pay for it...Anyway, you can really find yourself getting lost in watching it because you want to see how things light up or the changes in blinking lights on a Christmas tree...hahaha.. We were in tunnel vision. Funniest thing ever!!! Marc put it on as a joke but it was crazy how we got stuck watching it till about 3:30am! hahaha. It was funny. They do have some cute stuff and all the callers in were older ladies...haha. Nothing else to buy I guess.

Moving right along...We woke up at nearly 2pm!!! The day was gone! But we got up and got started quickly. No breakfast...lunch...whatever. Went to T-Mobile to get Marc a new phone as his kept turning off and on and then not turning on. I also found out that my phone messing up is not my fault...Galaxy S4 had bugs so I will upgrade later...for now I'm fine...I didn't realize I could trade in a pay nothing more.

We then went to Whole Foods today to get my baby sprouts that I have been craving but can't find anywhere...yum yum... Found a good deal on Scallops too! And Marc found his IPA's in abundance too! I of course bought some chocolate covered coffee beans...who doesn't love those! By the way...I drank wine all through my Insanity program and lost hella weight...some is ok!

Went back home to drop the food off...and off to Ihop...I know, not the best place but we figured we could use the calories. Come to find out...I'm only eating my NET calories and not my workouts back and probably why I'm not dropping weight like I want to... Anyway, I had a belgian waffle with strawberries, sunny side up eggs, two slices of bacon...no extras minus the coffee I had with cream...light cream. Overall. It really was a decent meal. No syrup...no nothing.

We then hit up H-E-B...got $120 of food to feed us...we did exceptional!!! I also found two wines to try. Overall, we did really good with food this week and will have tons left over. Considering we don't eat out this is great. Plus we decided Marc needs more carbs to help power him through his X3 workouts as he has been really weak so we decided he will be eating sandwiches (wheat subs) for lunch to fuel him...along with his snacks...Cause I don't need the carbs but he does. BTW, The chips are his...Pita chips are OURS for the Bad ass hummus we found at Whole Foods!

Once we got back I did Piyo Define: Upper Body...I got the co-ordination down now and I loved that!!! I'm getting better and still pretty stoked that I can now do the side plank without my back hurting...those of you just joining in my journey..I have 5 herniated disks...so, if you have an excuse...I hope its a good one...because excuses don't move you forward....they keep you stagnant and stuck where you are! Don't do that!!!

I felt so great about working out, I wanted more and thought about running....before I could say no or make an excuse...Marc tells me it's ok...go...enjoy yourself and if you get lost I'll come get you...so, I did!!!! Remember, you have ten seconds to take action before our lazy brains decide we don't want to or why we shouldn't do something!! So, stop thinking and get up off your ass and get going...take action!! Even if you can't do whatever it is right now...take some form of action on the thought to make it more real! It works...try it! Like getting up early...before you press snooze again...ten seconds...get up!!! I'm bad at that...

As for my run, I went 1.40 miles...which I was hoping for 1.50...But I don't know my neighborhood yet and I just ran. I was really happy with that too because my best time ever was 12.12 minutes a mile but I got 13.33 which considering I haven't ran in a very long time...it's great to me. I felt like I could have gone further but thing is, I want to make sure that I'm not over doing it on my back again and workin on progress, not perfection. If I jump into running hard core and my back hurts a lot...I may have problems with PiYo however, I do know that Piyo has already helped me immensely because my back doesn't hurt as much! So, run went great! I thought smarter...because I know when I run a 5k my back is killing me the next day. We shall see.

Once we got home, we organized and set up the bedroom...well, not completely but it helps me feel like we did something and we had planned it...Did exceptional at doing that...bed up, nightstands up...all that. Makes me feel a heck of a lot better about being more at home....It's nice. Little at a time...less stress. Did you realize that having so much on a list to do or an unkept home can put more stress on you that you may not even realize that is happening? That's why I talk about these things. I may not be working per se but I coach and I am a full time grad that keeps me super busy. Doing a little at a time helps me destress...helps me feel productive and makes me feel good about myself on top of accomplished. This is another reason why fitness is important...it does the same thing. Who doesn't love that?!

My team update to my Piyo Challengers...same thing I have typed here but MORE!!! yay! Plus you see my kitties! Below, I look tired and old...ick...but whatever...comes with age I guess...little wrinkles..I notice that now...but too late to change my photo....my Shakeology is GONE! BTW, Marc did this with this phone and thinks its AMAZING! =) I don't mind putting me out there...so, doesn't bother me! Love me, hate me...take me as I am! You have to love yourself!

Since we didn't eat much and had IHop... which I believe was only 600 calories because I didn't have extras...the waffle was 400...anyway, we weren't hungry and after my run I wasn't but I started feeling light headed...so, without dinner...and not wanting to eat but knowing I need something I have now had my Shakeology for the day. Wow, after that first sip...instantly I felt better!!! I swear I love this stuff...its heaven and the answer to all health problems in a bag...well, not all but its great! =) I swear the best part of my day is talking to those who are interested in starting their fitness journey! I love that...I love helping others realize that THEY MATTER! Loving yourself and taking care of yourself is what its all about. I love it! Honey, did you know...you matter and you are beautiful no matter what size you are...but, we can get you fit and happier. I've been there...Let's do this!!!

Now, it's time for bed. It was a productive day overall and I'm ready for Sweat tomorrow....let's start this week out right! Now, time for snuggles!
