PiYo Challenge - Day 10
Such an uneventful day...I woke up late. Guess it had to do with my back hurting last night and my taking my medicine is off a bit. So, as soon as I got up I started some coffee and has an apple & pecan Kind Bar. Nom Nom.... I then heard the door bell...PACKAGE!!! BEACHBODY!!! Before I picked up my package I ran to the mail man cause I had something mail a letter...that was about four houses down...EXERCISE! I was awake! Then Shadow just wouldn't leave me alone...so, blushing boy doesnt like photos...
I am a crazy cat lady...love my babies!
Yep, I got my Tai Cheng shirt...I mastered it! Yay! Pictures tomorrow! So, I got to work...homework! Yay..not! Soon after I came up with a brilliant idea... FREE Clean Eating Challenge! Yes, I love that idea! WHY?! Because, though I eat clean mostly...I are much cleaner this time and I have lost 7lbs!!
While brain storming and talking to interested peeps I blended up some mangos, pineapples, and blueberries to mix with my Chobani nasty plain yogurt. haha! It was yum!
Finally wrapped that up and started making my lunch which was amazing! 2 cups of Spinach, 4 oz. ground turkey seasoned with Uncle Chris', 1/4 of an avocado, one roma tomato, few alfalfa sprouts and two lemons for dressing....soooooooo gooooooooooood. Nom Nom. Before mixed and after! yay!
I love how people are asking me for recipes...it makes me feel like I make some good shit...which, btw, I do...you should try it. =)
By the way...I love the flavor of Lychee...but never had an actual fruit...so I picked ONE up...cut it today and I have to say I giggled... It really tastes sort of like a grape but when you touch it...uh, it feels like... a dirty word that starts with a P! Same texture of the head of it....lol. I can't explain it any other way...Shit was funny! Marc even touched it and said..."Oh, wow...it really does. Surprisingly." Personally, it was just too weird to eat. I felt naughty.
Back to homework and then when I wrapped that up I got to do PiYo - Core which ....may I add....is amazing! I feel my muscles everywhere and tight everywhere. Only a few workouts I may need to work on a little form...I'll get better though...and the last move was tough on my back but again I am still stoked that I can do side planks again...yes! No back pain there!
For dinner I made scallops...yep, sure did! Seared them puppies in coconut oil which by the way is really dangerous...so don't do that naked...or really close for that matter. I sauteed coleslaw...yes, prepackaged but its just cabbage and carrots..my favorite thing sauteed! Then I used my rice cooker that has a steamer on it...score!....and steamed some broccoli. Made some couscous with the tiniest bit of butter..light, yes... and bam...amazing dinner. I did have a glass of some shitty wine I have...no bueno!
One cup of coleslaw, 1 1/2 cup of steamed broccoli, 1/2 cup of dry couscous (you cook it of course), Seer the scallops on a really hot pan...with two tsp of coconut oil (I made more so for one person you would use less), Bam.loveliness!

No shakeology today....sadly I had no time to fit it in...makes me sad but it did let me enjoy my yummy dinner and have more scallops than I really should have. I can say that by not having it, I dont feel so good....we shall see ...but for now, I know my back hurts...I think I should separate my running...not good for me. Besides, I really am digging Piyo and how I am feeling. I need to continue to do this...forever! Yep, I will have to get certified..yes! There's one coming up but I will have to wait financially for now. Still excited.
What I don't talk about much and I will more...is how much my challengers are doing and how wonderful they are taking to the program as well as the group I set up...That makes me feel successful and it makes my heart warm for them...I love following them through their journey...the excitement and knowing that I helped start that...I get to watch that...and experience it with them! That's what its all about...makes me super happy seeing them super happy.
Well, that's about it for me today...I'm watchin a bit of tv...down time..I overdo it half the time with homework and coaching...me time is important but its hard to not call coaching me time...cause I love watching it...but I need more down time...Piyo gives me that...I cant wait for more. Tomorrow I'm doing YogaX3 with Marc and Upper Body...bring it on! Have a great night!
