PiYo Challenge - Day 5

Day 5 and I got to thinking I didn't ever post about my video to my challengers here...I think I should...so here it is. I have also posted my Photos of right after I finished Asylum..Not quite my before photos of PiYo as I started PiYo a week and a half later due to moving and waiting for it to come in the mail but I thought I would put it in here.. Aren't I pretty with makeup. I should do it more often. I don't get out much. Seriously I need a life. Help me! 



Next I wanted to provide some bad ass recipe for Shakeology Bars!! I love these bastards! So yum.

Chocolate Oatmeal Shakeology Bars!
4 scoops of Shakeology = 1 1/2 cups
4 cups of rolled quick oatmeal - dry -- this may be a bit much for some people...you can cut it down
1  cup PB2 - love this stuff
I add in chopped almonds or walnuts 1/8 cup
1 cup of almond or soy milk (I prefer soy) -- sometimes you need to add more though -- I did here
Splash of vanilla extract
Dash of Cinnamon -- I added more the second time..nom nom

Mix it and put in a 8 x8 pan...press flat and put in fridge for 2-3 hours and cut into 9-12 squares. nom  nom away! 189 calories per serving


NOW....My day...started late as last night when I was making Marc's breakfast I stood up really fast and I hit my head on the bar (the corner, mind you) and I have a huge knot on my head...so I laid back down today and slept in as I was very light headed and hurt bad. Breakfast was NOT my fav egg beaters, tomatoes and onions....it was a Kind bar with orange juice. 


Yep..simple. I felt like crap. I refused to get on Facebook today as I find that I am unorganized and really driving myself crazy not feeling accomplished...I had to get organized fast. So, school work first, coaching next. It went well. I got a lot done. Got organized, and about had a heart attack when I noticed that my final for one class is a 20 page paper with minimum of 20 references. Uh, damn! The other class is a 10 page paper..I can do this though!

But first....let's take a selfie!

Good thing about lunch time was that I got to help Marc with form during P90x3. He struggles with pain in some parts of his body and I feel like I am bugging him or he might get mad at me but he listens and adjusts. It's nice that he does listen and takes me as I am helping him and not trying to tell him what to do. It feels good and I'm glad to help him any way I can. Whatever i can do for my honey. As for PiYo....it was a rest day...and one well needed...as my back was hurting pretty bad today...I guess I slept wrong but it was not fun once I woke up...later it got much better though...that is a good thing.


With that said, I had my Shakeology...Chocolate Vegan again today....and we went to go get Pho today as I was out of lunch meat for him and just was not up for cooking. Pho isnt bad so we went and had to go get soy for our Shakeology anyway. We did try the pork bread...which sounds weird but its like a sandwhich...so odd sounding but wow, its good. Went and got food after and back home for coaching time.

Instead, I made salsa...he loves my salsa. No dinner...we were both still full of broth. I did have a hand full...no literally a hand full of chips and a little salsa as I wasn't hungry. I had a glass of white zinfendel and later a light yoplait yogurt. Not bad considering my day was so off. I had this amazing day planned and it was the ONE day I was super excited about too! I might just move everything over a day and do today over again. Especially now that I have everything I need. I won't tell you what I had planned....You'll just have to find out. =)


Yep, with contacts...you kind of HAVE to wear gloves as you want to punch people the next day trying to put your contacts in after touching peppers...I didn't remember but Marc did...Such a sweetie! Of course though, cause he wanted the salsa....Did you see the salsa?


Because....the salsa is gone!

Not really...there's a huge tub of it left! =)


I didn't eat much today and I did go over by a few calories. Literally, it was 38. The funny part is that we don't realize that we can eatso much MORE foods when we eat healthy but when we don't eat AS healthy we eat less or we just don't eat. It's crazy. Now, I don't feel too bad about today. Pho noodles really are not bad for you. Its a carb, yes...but I got everything I needed. Problem was that I didn't need to try the half of the pork bread but it was something that was nice to try. I'm human, shoot me. As far as the drinking goes. I normally don't really drink but I find that Marc wants a beer...I want something. Its odd how we tend to develop these habits with or around certain people, is it not. This is why it's important to be around positive, motivation, healthy people. I do not allow him to have really bad things in the house. He got a different kind of beer this time so i wouldn't drink it...sad thing is, I tried it...and I like it...boo...but I didn't do it. I had a glass of wine. Its more calories but better for you. Its all in the choices we make. I won't fret over a few calories. I've done well this week and I will work hard as time goes on. I need less stress in my life now...So far, I've done really good eating by this nutrition plan minus the beer...but I haven't gone far off...so far, so good. I'm a work in progress just like everyone else. I trained myself before...I can train myself again.


On another note....thought I would provide the videos from Super Saturday....the group of people doing PiYo for the first time. Me experiencing it for the first time!!! We did Strength Intervals. I can't wait. I loved it! I was sweating so much! This is why I love this business. All these people...all the love, positivity, and amazing kinds of peeps...all there supporting each other...what else could you want!


 Forgot I had makeup on...wiped my face...lol...so pretty!

 As far as these go...I just thought they were helpful guidelines to life that you may need. =) like a good laugh!
